April Fools Day
It is fast approaching, that day when 50 million American suckers will again volunteer to throw away a fourth or a third or half or more of their earned "dollars" from their previous year's labors. The real "April Fools Day" is not April 1st but the 15th.
Millions are programmed to waste an incalculable number of man hours accumulating records, filing the forms, and reporting their incomes in fiat dollars. They believe that they are required to do this; and their CPA or tax attorney, themselves beneficiaries of the system, will not tell them differently. They believe that what they give to the IRS supports government expenses and is necessary to the annual budget process, and certainly no politician will stray anywhere near correcting that misconception. The truth is that most of the dolts don't even know it, and the others don't want to.
One who does is longtime gold bug, honest money advocate, and Texas Congressman Dr. Ron Paul, a hero of the conservatives, but he doesn't explain it to them either. In Dr. Paul's defense, we should say that he might have good reason. Twenty years ago, he began to see the dastardly lengths to which the government will stretch to preserve its deception.
Congressman George Hansen was one of Paul's few colleagues in the House - along with Larry McDonald and Phil Crane - who consistently voted along constitutional lines, regardless of the political ramifications. They all believed that adherence to the supreme law of the land far-outweighed political expediency. Crane was smeared with being a boozer along with a family sex scandal, McDonald disappeared forever on KAL-007, and Hansen underwent a real life horror story of draconian torture, the likes of which have seldom been heard in American history. Big George was the only one of the four to blatantly attack the IRS and has since told his story many times on talk radio. He was subjected to a far worse fate than most or all of the many people featured in his compilation of IRS atrocities in his 1979 book, To Harass Our People. Financially ruined and physically debilitated, he barely emerged from the American Gulag with his life in 1997, after enduring more than a decade of government abuse.
The income tax scam is based on a fiction called the U. S. dollar. Everybody believes in the dollar, which is the cornerstone of everybody's mental deception. The dollar, just like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny of folkloric tradition, does not exist. Not one person in a million understands this. Consequently, millions and millions of Americans are involved in a swindle based on pure fiction. John Maynard Keynes warned us in 1920 when he said: By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."
And if you think the preceding was a not-so-subtle, ill-concealed plug for my book, you get an "A" for astute. One in a Million was written in historical novel form in hope of getting the attention of uninformed Americans who may not otherwise be bothered with a boring, non-fiction treatise on the subject. But these same people might be entertained with some blood and guts action where the good guys win in the end - and perhaps be subliminally educated in the process. Those who have read it seem to agree - judging from the letters I get - that my idea worked. However, even when we sell another million more (surely we will), we can expect the results, measured against the enormous group of deluded masses, to be of little impact.
Off white strips of paper with green and black numbers on them are not dollars. (See 12 USC 152) These are only phony symbols of dollars, but belief in the dollar as substance (not fiction) is so ingrained and widespread that it ranks with religion. It is the greatest weapon of our oppressors, hiding in plain sight. And the so-called "income" of these credit-based tokens derived in the workplace by domestic based Americans does not even apply under the income tax statutes.
How has such a disgraceful spoils system that produces a living for tens of thousands of accountants and lawyers, while costing the American people millions of hours of record keeping - to say nothing of the $billions in taxes on their labor - been allowed to go on for generations? The reason is that the phony income tax system is truly witchcraft and few will ever untangle the mystery.
When the IRS puts someone in jail, it is always to place fear in the hearts of others and never for failure to pay taxes. The victim could not pay taxes if he wanted to because there is no substance to the stuff used as money. The "king" can produce all he wants of it at will and use it to build more federal buildings as well as to arm more robotons to enforce his ungodly statutes. (It seems that not one in a million can independently conclude that the government cannot create gold or silver.) The IRS jails people (many without legal jurisdiction) for non-political conformity and uses the code words "tax protestor" to tag the political dissident. The fact that the IRS is a political agency to enforce political conformity is super secret. This helps it keep its cloak and disguise as a tax collector.
People who are arrested and imprisoned by IRS because they are unwilling to file information about themselves and swear to it "under penalty of perjury" are political prisoners. The giving of information, the testifying against one's self, on tax forms is all a political process and has nothing to do with paying taxes. The 1040 form is a confession sheet.
The income tax is a fraud used to cover a bigger fraud; the government gets everything for nothing. Why would the government need your taxes when it creates unlimited credit and trades it in exchange for all its goods and services? And once you declare yourself a willing volunteer who will surrender a large portion of your earnings to them each year, why should they reject it? Would you not accept the generous gift if it were sent to you?
Don't curse the IRS agents who harass you. That mob is as ignorant as the rest of the populace. They actually believe that they are collecting taxes that you owe the government. They have no understanding whatsoever of what they are actually doing. They do not know that the dollar is a figment of people's imagination. They think they are doing honorable work, helping fund the government by eliminating "cheaters," when, in fact, they work for the cheaters. There is not one dime going to Washington as taxes. Only the boys at the top are aware, and they ain't talking. Why should they? Their nests are feathered with the continuance of the hoax.
The great entrapment system deceptively named the "Internal Revenue Service" has successfully deceived and intimidated millions of Americans. The income tax, the income tax code, and all supporting rulings are misapplications of the law. The money creators created a fiction as money, and then they created another fiction to cover the fraud.
But there is even a greater reason for you not to hate the IRS goon squad when they come knocking: you invited them! When you filled out the 1040 form in the first place, you volunteered yourself into a "tax" that you probably were not even liable for in the first place. Did you live and earn any income outside the U. S.? If so, you need to file a 2255. These forms for U. S. citizens are for self-assessing foreign income and in no way apply to wages and earnings inside the states. If you had any taxable income from the sales of alcohol, tobacco, and firearms, you are required to pay excise tax with form 720. Only the Americans who wish to volunteer to donate a gift to the bureaucrats use the 1040.
Don't take my word for it. Order the special tax issue just published by this magazine. Pay special attention to Larkin Rose's Summary of Current Law on page 14 and take it to your accountant and/or tax lawyer. Insist that he research it for the truth and give you a written report with no double talk. Am I required to file or not?

Indeed. As a former purveyor of curses for the rascals, I no longer advocate the abolition of the Internal Revenue Service. (After all, foreign corporations deriving income from inside our borders should be taxed.) But I do want its agents to know the laws and apply them accordingly.
